Carrying the instrument

Please hold the handgrip and base of the instrument.

Setting the instrument on tripod
When mounting the instrument on a tripod, use a wooden tripod when possible because the vibrations may occur.
When using a metallic tripod can effect the measuring precision.

Installing the tribrach
If installing tribrach incorrectly, the measuring precision could be effect
Please check the adjusting screws on the tribrach and make sure the base fixing level is locker.

Check battery level
Confirm battery level remaining before work.

Taking the battery out
Do not take the battery or external battery out during the power is ‘on’ because all the data stored is possible gone.
So please, make sure your power is switch ‘off’ before taking the battery out.

Power source
Please use batteries or external power as we recommended.
Use batteries or external power source not recommended by use will cause equipment failure.

Exposing the instrument to extreme heat
Do not leave the instrument in extreme heat for long hour. If will effect the performance.

Suddenly changes of temperature
Suddenly change of temperature to the instrument or prism as a result will effect
measuring distance range. Etc heated vehicle.

Guarding the instrument against shock
More provide some protection to minimize risk of shock.
Heavy shock may cause the measurement failed.
